Copoly Technologies’ TEMAX® elastomer bumpers provide extreme durability and high performance in a solid-state, maintenance-free design. TEMAX® stands for Thermoplastic Elastomer MAXimized – using an alloyed ThermoPlastic Copolyester (TPC) to achieve optimized performance. The unique molecular structure of the base thermoplastic copolyester Arnitel®, from DSM, combines the strength and inert qualities of hard plastics with the flexibility of rubbers. This allows TEMAX® elastomer bumpers to deliver load capacities of up to 10 times that of rubber bumpers and elastomer bumpers, while significantly prolonging operational life spans up to 5 times longer than steel coil springs, 10 times longer than rubber bumpers and 20 times longer than urethane bumpers. Unaffected by oil, grease, chemicals, salt spray, ozone, sunlight, hydraulic fluids and fuels, TEMAX® elastomer bumpers perform efficiently in the harshest of environments. Available in a variety of shapes and sizes, TEMAX® bumpers are engineered to perform to specific load capacities, while their solid-state design enables them to outwork conventional air/oil shocks by eliminating fluid checks, seal leaks and frequent adjustments.
