Copoly Technologies TEMAX® is an acronym Thermoplastic Elastomer MAXimized using an Alloyed Copolymer Elastomer to achieve optimized performance.

TEMAX® is based on an alloyed copolyester elastomer. Through Shape Engineering and Proprietary Processing, a unique Highly Efficient, Durable and Inert Energy Absorbing Spring/Bumper is produced. The unique molecular structure of the base polymer has both Soft Segment (rubber like) molecular chains and Hard Segment molecular chains i.e. CoPolymer.

Shape Engineering and Proprietary Processing in conjunction with the Extreme Durability and the Inertness of the base CoPolymer, DuPont Hytrel®, combine to achieve a Elastomer Bumper/Spring with 7 to 10 the capacity of Rubbers and Urethanes in the same space and weight that is unaffected by oil, grease, chemicals, salt spray, ozone sunlight, hydraulic fluids and fuels. In addition, the Proprietary Processing combines with the base polymer to achieve durability that has 5 times longer life expectancy than steel coil springs, 10 times longer than rubber and 20 times longer than urethane products..
